Yellowjacket vs. Tiny Ant-Man in First Look at the Marvel Movie’s Villain

Corey Stoll play the villain in Marvel’s Ant-Man. His name is Darren Cross and his evil alter-ego is the character you see pictured above, Yellowjacket, and he definitely has a size advangtage on Paul Rudd‘s little ol’ Ant-Man, but Ant-Man has a trick up his sleeve.

“Hank Pym’s Ant-Man suit doesn’t have a single weapon,” director Peyton Reed tells EW, “whereas Yellowjacket is armed with plasma cannons.” So what does Ant-Man have going for hi? “Ant-Man is very fast when he’s small. Also, when he shrinks, he increases his density, so he’s got increased strength.”

The picture above is apparently from the first showdown between the two foes in the film.

Ant-Man hits theaters on July 17.
