‘Mommy’, ‘Serena’, ‘Pawn Sacrifice’ & ‘Hayride 2’ in Today’s MPAA Ratings Bulletin

This has got to be one of the more interesting MPAA ratings bulletins in a while and not because of the recognizable names, but more for the abundance of sequels I had never heard of. The only one I’ve heard of (and have actually seen and The Man With The Iron Fists and yes, RZA is back and starring and also wrote the screenplay and it may or may not be called The Man with the Iron Fists: Sting of the Scorpion. The first one made just over $19 million worldwide on a $15 million budget, my guess is he got about $5 million to make this one… max.

As for the films we’ve actually heard of we have Xavier Dolan‘s excellent Mommy, the Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper movie Serena, Pawn Sacrifice (read my review here) starring Tobey Maguire and Liev Schrieber and Escobar: Paradise Lost.
