Conan O’Brien has forgone the formalities of having MTV issue a press release and announced he will serve as host at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards where I’m sure Gravity will be the big winner as it seems the general MTV population is just as predictable as the Academy.
The show will air on Sunday, April 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV, and will surely feature plenty of trailers and previews of upcoming young adult adaptations and I’d expect will be when we get the first trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.
“After eight years of intense negotiations, I am honored to announce I am hosting MTV’s second most prestigious awards show,” O’Brien said in his announcement, which you can watch directly below.
