Someone has uploaded one of the best scenes from The Wolf of Wall Street in which Leonardo DiCaprio as Jordan Belfort experiences the delayed effect of several Lemmon Quaaludes and while it is undoubtedly ripped from a bootleg copy of the film likely making the rounds on the Internet, Paramount would be wise to let this one run its course rather than having it removed from the YouTubes.
After DiCaprio made a comical guest appearance on “Saturday Night Live” last night (watch below) as his Wolf co-star Jonah Hill hosted it instantly went viral and reminds everyone Wolf is out in the ether, begging to be consumed, but it’s clips like this that will remind Academy members and others just how good DiCaprio is in the film.
Is there any chance Hill, DiCaprio or even the film can score Supporting Actor, Best Actor or Picture wins? Not really, but if any season is ready for an upset somewhere this is the one. Things are clearly turning into a dog fight between 12 Years a Slave, American Hustle and Gravity and who knows, Wolf could find itself manipulating the voting system to the point it scores a win… or two?
