‘Need for Speed’, ‘Blended’, ‘Enemy’ and ‘Party Central’ in Today’s MPAA Ratings Bulletin

Today’s MPAA ratings bulletin begins with the latest rom-com starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler in the PG-13-rated Blended while Dreamworks’ video game adaptation Need for Speed also scores the expected 13-and-under rating. And with an R-rating is the Toronto Film Festival standout, Denis Villeneuve‘s Enemy starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

Perhaps a little more interesting to some is the PG rating for the upcoming Pixar short film Party Central which will play in front of Muppets Most Wanted on March 21. The short features Mike and Sulley from Monsters University with a story described as such:

Mike and Sulley are back at Monsters University for a fun-filled weekend with their Oozma Kappa fraternity brothers. The gang is throwing their first party, but no one’s showing up. Luckily for them, Mike and Sulley have come up with a plan to make sure “Party Central” is the most epic party the school has ever seen.
