Watch ‘Castello Cavalcanti’, a new Short Film from Wes Anderson

Prada has teamed with writer/director Wes Anderson to deliver a new eight-minute short film titled Castello Cavalcanti starring Jason Schwartzman as Formula One race driver Jed Cavalcanti. The short was presumably made once Anderson finished work on his upcoming film The Grand Budapest Hotel, which The Playlist says could have actually been released this year until Fox Searchlight decided to hold off for a March 2014 release.

The short follows Jed during the Molte Miglia rally, in September 1955 when he crashes into a sculpture of Jesus in Castello Cavalcanti and fatefully meets his ancestors and ultimately has a few drinks and spaghetti with them. Co-starring Giada Colagrande Featuring cinematography from Darius Khondji (Midnight in Paris) you can check out the short directly below.
