Harrison Ford is Up for ‘Blade Runner 2’… If It Ever Gets Made

IGN caught up with Harrison Ford who just happened to be roaming the streets outside their offices while he was doing press round for Ender’s Game (11/1), and when asked about returning as Richard Deckard for Ridley Scott‘s proposed Blade Runner 2 he said, “Yeah. We’ve been chatting about it… I truly admire Ridley as a director, and I’d be happy to engage with him again in the further telling of this story.”

So there you have it, confirmed. They have been talking about it and he would be happy to engage. What’s next you may wonder? Well, the movie has to actually go into production.

Last we heard, Michael Green (one of four writers on Green Lantern) was hired to rewrite the screenplay, which was penned by original Blade Runner scribe. Hampton Fancher.

There’s no plot just yet so feel free to speculate, I know I have.
