Filming on Universal’s Fast & Furious 7 is underway as Vin Diesel posted the above image of he and Paul Walker to his Facebook page. Set for a July 11, 2014 release, the film is directed by James Wan (The Conjuring, Insidious: Chapter 2) and brings back all the familiar faces.
Little is known of the plot outside of the knowledge the story will move the action back to Los Angeles and will involve Jason Statham as the brother of Luke Evans‘ character from Fast & Furious 6 along with new cast members Ronda Rousey, Kurt Russell and the most recent new recruit, Djimon Hounsou, whose role, naturally, is unknown.
Hounsou will next be seen in Baggage Claim on September 20 followed by 2014 releases including Guardians of the Galaxy and How to Train Your Dragon 2.
