The first poster for Ben Stiller‘s The Secret Life of Walter Mitty has just premiered (via MSN) featuring Stiller as the titular star as he walks on air in this fantastical, dream-based feature set to premiere at the New York Film Festival next month.
The film is a remake of the 1947 Danny Kaye starrer, which itself was based on the 1939 short story by James Thurber. The story centers on Mitty, a man who escapes his unexciting daily life by delving into elaborate daydreams in which he is suddenly a heroic character.
20th Century Fox will release Mitty in theaters on Christmas Day. Check out the trailer above and the poster below.
