Just yesterday I listed Martin Scorsese‘s The Wolf of Wall Street as my #1 Most Anticipated movie of the 2013 Fall movie season and today Paramount has released the first three official pictures from the movie, which tells me we may actually have some sort of announcement soon… Maybe a secret screening announcement at either the Telluride or, more likely, the New York Film Festival.
The film is based on Jordan Belfort’s tell-all autobiography and features Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead role playing a smug, narcissistic Long Island penny stockbroker who served 20 months in prison for refusing to cooperate in a massive 1990s securities fraud case that involved widespread corruption on Wall Street and in the corporate banking world, including mob infiltration.
Jonah Hill, Kyle Chandler, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner, Jon Favreau, Matthew McConaughey and Shea Whigham co-star in the film, which is set to hit theaters on November 15.
