Marvel has revealed two new Thor: The Dark World character posters featuring Chris Hemsworth as the title character and Tom Hiddleston as his evil brother, Loki.
Thor: The Dark World hits theaters November 8 and revolves around an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) who wants to send the universe back into darkness because he was always afraid of the light and his mother would never allow a night light or even leave his bedroom door cracked at night. So Thor must team up with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) to go to a local Home Depot and jury rig a night light that will shine so bright the entire universe will light up, thus defeating Malekith and his evil plan. The journey will force Thor to sacrifice everything (a slight exaggeration) to save us all.
Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins co-star.
