Like I said, a great day for movie news as Entertainment Weekly also delivers a new picture from David O. Russell‘s American Hustle featuring that dapper stylings of Christian Bale and a permed Bradley Cooper as they sandwich Amy Adams as they strut down the street in style.
Described as “a fictional film”, American Hustle tells the story of con man Irving Rosenfeld (Bale), who along with his British partner Sydney Prosser (Adams) is forced to work for FBI agent Richie DiMaso (Cooper). DiMaso pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and mafia that’s as dangerous as it is enchanting.
Jeremy Renner stars as Carmine Polito, the passionate, volatile, New Jersey political operator caught between the con-artists and Feds. Irving’s unpredictable wife Rosalyn (Jennifer Lawrence) could be the one to pull the thread that brings the entire world crashing down.
American Hustle is skipping the fall festival circuit and will arrive in limited theaters on December 13 and expand on Christmas Day.
