A couple days ago someone said something to me like, “Nobody makes music videos anymore,” after I told them David Fincher directed Jermaine Stewart’s “We Don’t Have to Take Our Clothes Off” among many others. I corrected them saying not only are music videos still being made directors such as David Lynch and Paul Thomas Anderson are directing them — as well as Fincher who did Justin Timberlake‘s “Suit & Tie“.
I mention this because directly below are the music videos for Nine Inch Nails’ “Came Back Haunted” directed by Lynch and Fiona Apple’s “Hot Knife” directed by Anderson. Give ’em a watch and see what you think.
