The official box office results are in for the weekend and the top three all dropped almost $1 million each below Sunday’s estimates, which certainly provides a bit of a shake-up when it comes to your predictions.
The #1 film this weekend was Despicable Me 2 and the dip was a little more steep than estimated as it brought in $43.8 million followed by Grown Ups 2 with $41.5 million and Pacific Rim at $37.2 million.
The reader predictions have been updated and 63 of you have now scored at least one point, in just a couple weeks the second leaderboard will be revealed, tracking your overall prediction accuracy, so on top of the point system, we will begin tracking just who is the most accurate. I’m sure some will argue the second leaderboard will be the true test of your prediction skills.
