These five pictures from The Maze Runner actually premiered during the week, but there was an ugly corporate logo on them so I held off until Fox made them available to the rest of us without the blemish. That said, here we have your first official looks at the adaptation of James Dashner‘s novel, a sci-fi story set in a post-apocalyptic world centered on Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) who is deposited in a community of boys after his memory is erased, soon learning they’re all trapped in a maze that will require him to join forces with fellow “runners” for a shot at escape.
O’Brien is joined by Thomas Sangster, Kaya Scodelario, Will Poulter, Ki Hong Lee, Jacob Latimore, Blake Cooper, Aml Ameen and Patricia Clarkson and Wes Ball, who is better known as a visual effects artist, is making his feature directorial debut with a screenplay from Dashner who teamed with Noah Oppenheim for the screenplay.
