While a teaser trailer for Disney’s Frozen has been available online for some time (watch it here), it didn’t feature any of the film’s human characters, instead choosing to focus on Sven the reindeer and a talking snowman named Olaf (Josh Gad). Considering the story actually focuses on a character named Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell) who teams with a mountain man named Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), as they hope to put a stop to the eternal winter their kingdom is enduring at the hands of Anna’s sister Elsa (Idina Menzel), the Snow Queen.
Well, in an extremely unlikely scenario, the first footage arrives courtesy of the following Japanese entertainment show (via Bleeding Cool). While the voice over doesn’t allow you to gain any context for what’s going on, you’ll get a look at the animation.
Right now Frozen is my #1 bet to win Best Animated Feature this year. If it manages to live up to the likes of Wreck-It Ralph and Tangled it doesn’t seem the major studios will be able to stop it, but perhaps GKIDs has something up their sleeve?
Frozen hits theaters on November 27.
