Comic Con Too Far To Walk for ‘Hobbit’ Gang

Peter Jackson released the following new video blog for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and in it he got Twitter all upset because he won’t be bringing the film to Comic Con later this month. Jackson attributes the absence to the fact they are working on pick-up shots and the like, but I have another theory, which I included just below the video.

As for this blog, maybe it will tide you over as I suspect, at the very least, a new trailer will be released around the same time as Comic Con. Gotta give the fans something.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug hits theaters on December 13.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is the second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, continuing the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellan) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
