One of 2014’s most anticipated films has got to be Darren Aronofsky‘s Biblical epic Noah with Russell Crowe in the title role starring alongside Jennifer Connelly, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Emma Watson, Anthony Hopkins, Ray Winstone, Kevin Durand, Martin Csokas and Dakota Goyo to name a few.
Today a batch of six new pictures featuring Crowe, Hopkins, Watson Connelly, Lerman and Winstone have arrived in what look like what you’d expect character posters to look like. Just slap a title treatment, “Coming Soon” and a Paramount logo on there and you have yourself a character poster… or maybe a new age, Biblical trading card.
Noah is set for a March28, 2014 release and is described as a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah (Crowe) is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. The screenplay was written by Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award-nominated screenwriter John Logan (Gladiator, Hugo).
