The following is Britney Spears‘ new song “Ooh La La” which will play over the end credits for The Smurfs 2 and as long as it’s the first musical cue before the credits roll it has a shot at an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song. So as unlikely as the headline may seem, it’s not altogether impossible even though the song is… well, not very good? Then again, if the Oscars did interpretive dance renditions of all the Song nominees again this year, I might just have to push for this one.
“Ooh La La” was produced by Dr. Luke, Ammo and Cirkut. The film hits theaters on July 31.
