This is bound to be the week of The Wolverine as today I have two new posters and eight new pictures for you, tomorrow you’ll get a teaser for the upcoming trailer and on Wednesday, March 27 that new trailer will officially drop, which is teased by the “tweaser” to the right, posted on Twitter’s Vine by director James Mangold.
Fox has been coy with the marketing for this one, biding its time for the film, which is now only a few short months away, releasing in theaters on July 26. The story is based on the celebrated comic book arc, which finds Logan (Hugh Jackman), the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
Today’s new pictures give you a look at not only Jackman as Wolverine, but also Svetlana Khodchenkova as Viper, Rila Fukushima as Yukio and Tao Okamoto as Mariko, the target of the Yakuza whom Logan is protecting.
