Watch the Best Part of ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’ for Free

The best part of Oz the Great and Powerful is undoubtedly the opening title sequence and Disney has decided instead of having you pay to see it in theaters they will just offer it to you for free online. Nice of them right?

Admittedly, if 3D does add any kind of value to the theatrical experience it is with a sequence such as this, but it’s hardly reason enough to pay the inflated ticket price when you can sit back and watch it right now in the comfort of your own surroundings.

I’ve also included the end credit sequence from Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, which is just as great, but also features the fantastic score from Thomas Newman as a little bonus. Both are animated in a similar “paper” puppet style and show a terrific amount of imagination. I hope you enjoy.
