I saw Derek Cianfrance‘s The Place Beyond the Pines in Toronto last year and you can read my review right here. It’s good, but one hell of a melancholy film.
Starring Ryan Gosling as a a professional motorcycle rider and Bradley Cooper as a Schenectady police officer, their two lives violently cross paths, ultimately causing a cross-generational ripple. Eva Mendes, Ray Liotta, Rose Byrne, Dane DeHaan, Bruce Greenwood, Ben Mendelsohn and Emory Cohen co-star.
Focus picked the film up out of Toronto and will bring it to theaters on March 29 and today released the first poster, which can be seen below.
