I know the use of orange in posters is overdone, but considering the nature of Steven Soderbergh‘s Side Effects in which Rooney Mara (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) plays a troubled and depressed woman who is taking serious amounts of prescription drugs to deal with the anxiety surrounding the pending release of her husband (Channing Tatum) from prison, I think mimicking the orange tint of a pill bottle with this just released poster would have been a nice touch.
That being said, below I offer the original, red poster for the film as provided by the Huffington Post along with an alternative version I created. What do you think?
