The first clip from Zero Dark Thirty has arrived featuring Kyle Chandler playing the local CIA chief in Pakistan and Jessica Chastain as the film’s central character, CIA agent Maya. As if the headlines around these parts didn’t already indicate, this film is poised to make a potentially big impression at the Oscars this year and potentially play big in theaters in January after a limited release on December 19.
The story, if you didn’t know, focuses on the hunt for Osama bin Laden and culminates in the raid on his compound. The film is directed by Kathryn Bigelow and co-stars Jason Clarke, Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Ehle, Mark Strong and Edgar Ramirez.
