Talk surrounding the film has begin to bubble lately with rumors of a three-hour running time, word Christoph Waltz is so great as German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz he’ll be campaigning for a Best Actor nomination at the Oscars and new word that Samuel L. Jackson may be a strong contender for Supporting Actor playing Stephen, Candie’s trusted house slave. Could we see a trifecta of nominations for the film?
Django Unchained was rumored as the potential secret film at the now-in progress Rome Film Festival, but Tarantino was unable to complete the film in time as this morning it was announced Johnnie To‘s new thriller Du zhan (Drug War) was the “secret” selection.
