A series of seven new banners promoting The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey have arrived featuring Ian McKellen as Gandalf, Hugo Weaving as Elrond, Martin Freeman as Bilbo and, of course, a couple featuring the several dwarves in the film.
A lot of the talk surrounding The Hobbit lately has had to do with which theaters will be showing the film in 48 fps 3-D and I’ve started compiling a list here for those of you that have yet to check it out.
I have also since learned that locally, here in Seattle, the film will be showing on our legitimate IMAX screen at the Pacific Science Center in 70mm, but unfortunately not in 48 fps.
