If someone were to ask me, “Who is Alexa Vega?” my only response would be, “An actor.” I had to look up her prior credits and the only film she’s ever been in that I have seen was Twister and she was only eight at the time and I have to assume she was no Quvenzhané Wallis.
Well, she isn’t eight-years-old any longer and Robert Rodriguez is making sure to let everyone know as the following new picture from Machete Kills has arrived and the actress that previously starred in Rodriguez’s Spy Kids franchise is no longer a kid.
Vega plays a character named KillJoy in the film, which is a sequel to 2010’s Machete and brings back Danny Trejo in the title role as the ex-federale is recruited by the U.S. government to stop an arms dealer (Mel Gibson) from launching a deadly missile.
Open Road will release the film next year. Now here’s that pic. I can only assume many drunk college girls will make this their Halloween costume next year, but it’s gonna be chilly.
