I’m still working on my review of Skyfall, but I will say one aspect I was impressed by was Berenice Marlohe as Severine. Sure, she’s got the looks, the walk, the style, but it was her line delivery that worked so well for me. Her confidence and deep, smokey voice helped create the character and she actually gives a startling impressive performance once the story takes a bit of a turn.
Today Columbia brings a clip from the film that is primarily released to show you the moment Daniel Craig delivers the signature 007 line, “Bond, James Bond.” But I’m just happy to be able to show off a bit of Marlohe for you that doesn’t give anything away and certainly doesn’t give any allusions as to who or what her character is all about.
Skyfall is already out in some international territories and hits theaters here in the States next weekend. I expect I’ll have my review for you early next week so be on the look out for that, but for now, here’s that clip.
