My fiancée is in love with Mumford & Sons so I almost feel obligated to post this new trailer for their upcoming concert film The Road to Red Rocks. Unfortunately, for all you other lovers of the Mumford and the collaborating Sons, this project won’t be hitting the big screen, but will instead be made available on DVD and Blu-ray with a November 26 release date set for the UK and Europe, a November 30 release in Australia and New Zealand and the poor US and Canada fans will have to wait until January 22.
The footage comes from the band’s recent performances at the Red Rocks amphitheater in Colorado and consists of official live footage from the two sold out concerts in addition to interviews and footage with the band recorded while on Gentlemen of the Road touring circuit.
Mumford & Sons may also find themselves as part of the Oscar race soon as their track with Birdy, “Learn me Right” from Brave, will be among the contenders for Best Original Song.
