So I’ve recently learned they won’t be screening Paranormal Activity 4 for press here in Seattle. It’s the first of the three films they haven’t screened early as they are only doing the Fan premiere screenings in the top 25 cities that voted tomorrow night. Okay, so it looks like I’m heading to the theater at midnight on Thursday night. No biggie, and the best part of it is I actually want to see this movie. Makes staying up late a little more worth it.
That said, Paramount has released a new clip from the film in which a creepy kid walks around, a girl bolts upright and another girl floats… Just your average, everyday, found footage thriller.
Early buzz on this one suggested it doesn’t stick close enough to the mythology the franchise has developed, but that it is the most violent of the four films. You planning on checking it out this weekend?
