Based on the trailers you would think pictures for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 would include pictures of an epic vampire vs. werewolf battle and yet, despite having just received 17 new pictures from the film, all we continue to get is some forest loving and feats of strength games as the gang hugs it out, glares ominously and partakes in arm-wrestling matches.
The picture above featuring Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Hale is easily my favorite of the lot. Rathbone got approximately three words in Breaking Dawn – Part 1 (seriously, I included all three in my RopeofSilicon Awards last year) and one was a contraction. This time around I’m hoping he gets at least five, but as you can see from the pic above, one way or another he’s going to get in some evil glances.
Otherwise we get hugs between Bella (Kristen Stewart) and her dad (Billy Burke), Bella hugging her abomination of a daughter Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy), longing glances between Bella and Edward (Robert Pattinson), evil cottages, Taylor Lautner with his shirt on and Kellan Lutz gettin’ all “Wanna arm wrestle!?!?” with Bella. UNFAIR! She’s a girl! No, she’s a vampire! Word? Go ‘head then wit’ yo’ bad self!
Check out the pictures using the gallery links below and be happy for the franchise, not only is it breaking Dawn it’s also breaking RECORDS as advance tickets went on sale yesterday and ticket sales are already 87% higher than they were for Part 1, with over 25% of those sales being for The Twilight Saga Marathon, which will give fans a chance to watch the entire franchise on November 16, leading up to the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn Part 2.
