I can’t tell, are the eyes in the teaser poster for The Lone Ranger those of Johnny Depp or Armie Hammer?
I can understand them being Depp’s, since he’s the bigger star. But Hammer plays the title character while Depp plays his sidekick, Tonto. Considering they are just eyes I guess it doesn’t really matter, but I wonder whose film will this be, the Ranger’s or Tonto?
From the synopsis it sounds like the story is set up with Tonto telling the story of The Lone Ranger so perhaps it becomes his story and they are telling it as such so sequels could center on Depp’s character a bit more. It doesn’t really matter either way, I’m just curious.
