I guess we should expect a trailer for Dreamworks Animation’s The Croods some time soon seeing how Yahoo just debuted this poster and the film is hitting theaters in March 2013. In fact, it’s probably safe to assume it will be attached to Hotel Transylvania this weekend.
The film is an animated caveman feature written and directed by Chris Sanders (How to Train Your Dragon, Lilo & Stitch) and Kirk DeMicco (Space Chimps) and takes us back to a previously undiscovered era in the history of our planet known as the Croodaceous, when nature was still a work-in-progress… full of never-before- seen creatures and landscapes. Audiences will relate to the hilarious family antics as an imaginative and resourceful newcomer helps The Croods navigate their way through the fantastic world beyond their cave.
The voice cast is provided by Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone, Catherine Keener, Clark Duke and Cloris Leachman.
I can’t lie, the idea of Cage voicing a caveman sounds pretty excellent.
