I think I will just post this content without commentary since first TV spot everyone took what I was saying the wrong way and thought I was slamming the film, or the marketing, or something. In fact I was trying to make a post about a TV spot somewhat interesting considering, well, it was a TV spot.
That said, today Warner Bros. has released seven new banners for Cloud Atlas along with two more TV spots and I’m just going to keep my mouth (or my keyboard?) shut.
The film is set to hit theaters on October 26 and is based on David Mitchell‘s novel of the same name, exploring how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future. The film stars Tom Hanks, Ben Whishaw, Hugo Weaving, Doona Bae, Susan Sarandon, Jim Broadbent, Jim Sturgess, Hugh Grant, James D’Arcy, Halle Berry and Keith David.
I saw the film in Toronto and you can read my review here, otherwise, here’s the stuff…
