Instead of premiering a trailer first, Paramount has decided to go with a clip to introduce audiences to Anne Fletcher‘s The Guilt Trip starring Seth Rogen as an inventor who invites his mother (Barbra Streisand) on a cross-country trip as he tries to sell his new product while also reuniting her with a lost love.
The pic is one of two comedies hitting theaters on December 25 along with major releases Django Unchained and Les Miserables.
Give the clip a watch and see if you think it will be able to survive amidst such heavy hitters.
