Universal has debuted a brand new poster for Tom Hooper‘s Les Miserables, using a picture of Isabelle Allen who plays young Cosette, the face that makes up the iconic image we’ve all come to associate with Victor Hugo’s story.
Allen plays Cosette in her younger years, a character that is eventually played by Amanda Seyfried after she has been cared for by ex-prisoner Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman) after being hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Russell Crowe).
The film made waves recently after an questioned how ground-breaking the decision actually is, but either way you can’t fault the effort.
Les Miserables co-stars Anne Hathaway and Eddie Redmayne and will hit theaters on December 25. Check out the poster directly below.
