Amy Adams Shares Clip from ‘The Master’ With David Letterman

I am still trying to determine when I am going to see The Master. The first screening would mean I couldn’t see The Place Beyond the Pines or Frances Ha or I could wait a couple days and just see it later than most everyone else, a scenario that is likely to be my decision, but you know us humans… we hate to wait!

To sate our desires while we wait, however, The Weinstein Co. continues to make available new video coverage of the film such as the following clip has arrived online following Amy Adams‘ appearance on “Late Night With David Letterman” last night. Adams plays the wife of the film’s titular character, Lancaster Dodd (Philip Seymour Hoffman), a man that creates a belief system that catches on with lost souls, one of which is the character played by Joaquin Phoenix.

The film will soon play the Venice Film Festival followed by its arrival in Toronto and subsequent limited September 14 release with it going wide a week later on the 21st. Check out the new clip directly below and if you haven’t yet checked out the updated preview page for the film, I just added a couple of new pictures just last night. You can find those right here.
