It seems at this point the best thing to do is wait for all the special features on The Avengers Blu-ray to arrive online and buy the cheapest one possible as Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has now released yet another special feature from the disc, this one being an alternate opening to the film and it’s one I’m thankful they did not use.
Here you have Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill discussing the final events of the film, which would have presented the story’s narrative as a flashback. It’s very heavy-handed and overly dramatic and, in my opinion, just doesn’t work. And the Hulk yell? Just doesn’t fit at that moment.
