The marketing for The Dark Knight Rises has seemed relatively tame for the most part, not to mention I haven’t been all that impressed with the poster art that has come through to this point outside of the original teaser poster, but today’s reveal of the IMAX poster is certainly impressive even if the other two don’t do much for me at all. Then again, the first one below may have a greater effect on me after seeing the film.
First off, above is a poster I almost featured a long time ago, but just didn’t since it wasn’t necessarily an official poster as much as it was the gateway image on the Fire Rises online game, which is actually where the following poster comes from as well.
According to IMPAwards this following poster of Bane is unlocked after playing the online game. Thankfully we have people to do that for us because I know I’m not spending the time doing it.
And finally, what is probably the best poster to come along for the film since the first one, Warner Bros. delivers the IMAX poster for the film.
The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters on July 20.
