That Missed the Top Ten
On the Road

This one was right on the cusp of making my most anticipated list, but along with several of the films included here it just missed, but that doesn’t mean I’m not excited about seeing Walter Salles bring Jack Kerouac’s On the Road to the big screen. Unfortunately I have not actually read novel so my approach to the material won’t be as a familiar reader, but as an outsider curious to see what it has to offer.
The film stars Sam Riley, Kristen Stewart and Garrett Hedlund with a massive supporting cast that includes Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen, Amy Adams, Elisabeth Moss, Alice Braga and Tom Sturridge. It seems like it has been a long wait for this one, let’s hope it’s worth it.
