Long delayed due to issues at MGM, Drew Goddard‘s The Cabin in the Woods will finally hit theaters on April 13, 2012 through Lionsgate and today a new teaser poster for the film, which was co-written by Joss Whedon (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) and Goddard (Cloverfield) and stars Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth, Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Fran Kranz, Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison, Jesse Williams and Brian White.
The official synopsis reads like this:
Chris Hemsworth (Thor) stars as a young professional who visits a quaint cabin in the woods with a group of friends and ends up scratching the surface of something so massive and horrific that they can only begin to fathom it as time quickly runs out.
