20th Century Fox sent over five official pictures from Ridley Scott‘s Prometheus. They are the same images you saw previously, which were scanned from the pages of Empire magazine, but now you can view them in much higher quality and without Empire’s scribble all over them.
I have included one of the images above and another below and if you ask me, the one below seems like it will end up being the obvious choice for the film’s first poster. Just slap a title treatment on that, the names of the cast members (Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron and Idris Elba), Ridley Scott’s directorial credit, the June 8, 2012 release date and a big “IN 3D” and you’re done.
If you haven’t yet read it, here’s the synopsis:
Ridley Scott, director of Alien and Blade Runner, returns to the genre he helped define. With Prometheus, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
You can check out the other three new images in the gallery right here and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a first trailer very soon.
With that said, on top of the five images Fox sent over, Making Of debuted a couple others, which I’ve included at the bottom of this post.
