Paramount has chosen Saturday morning as the best time to debut the first poster for Eddie Murphy‘s A Thousand Words, a release that was perfectly timed to follow Murphy’s Oscar hosting duties, but with those plans scrapped I guess any old day will do to get the buzz out there on this one.
In A Thousand Words, Murphy plays Jack, a fast-talking agent whose most powerful weapon, his mouth, may prove to be his ultimate demise once the magical Bodhi tree owned by his recent client, guru/author Dr. Sinja (Cliff Curtis), begins shedding one leaf for each word Jack speaks. As it turns out, Jack only has one thousand words left before he dies.
Along with Murphy and Cliff Curtis, the film co-stars Kerry Washington, Clark Duke and Allison Janney and is set to hit theaters on March 23, 2012.
