If you’ve come here looking for something along the lines of what you saw in Mirror Mirror has arrived and it’s quite clear this one is aiming for an entirely different audience. So before you prepare to judge it, consider it might not be intended for you as the comedy is most likely going to hit with a thud and the story looks as if it’s a magical version of some Kate Hudson rom-com. One thing’s for certain, Singh has definitely lightened the mood when compared to Immortals.
Mirror Mirror is the first of two Snow White features to make way for theaters next year. Mirror Mirror features Julie Roberts as an evil Queen who aims to steal control of a kingdom and the exiled princess (Lily Collins) who enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright. Armie Hammer (The Social Network) stars as the object of their affection, Prince Andrew Alcott, and Nathan Lane as the hapless and bungling servant to the Queen.
The film is due to hit theaters on March 16, 2012, a couple of months ahead of the June 1 release of Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman, which stars Kirsten Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth.
