Connect the Cuts: First Look at ‘The Devil Inside’ Motion Poster

About a year ago Paramount acquired a low-budget indie horror feature for their Paramount Insurge label, hoping they had the next Paranormal Activity on their hands and with Paranormal Activity 3 prepping to hit theaters next Friday, October 21, what better time to showcase their upcoming January exorcism flick, William Brent Bell‘s The Devil Inside?

Today I have a motion poster and the accompanying theatrical poster for the film for you, which centers on Isabella, a woman who has been led to believe her mother brutally murdered three people because she was clinically insane. After being told the murders occurred during an exorcism, she sets out to discover the truth. While documenting her experience with a film crew in Italy, she becomes involved in a series of unauthorized exorcisms.

The film is shot in a documentary style and the video you see above is said to be “the actual 911 call of Maria Rossi”, the woman I am assuming to be the clinically insane mother, but details aren’t exactly overflowing on this one. All that’s know outside of what I’ve told you is the film will star Fernanda Andrade in the lead role, accompanied by Simon Quarterman, Evan Helmuth and Ionut Grama.

The Devil Inside will hit theaters on January 6, 2012 and the first trailer will debut this Monday, October 17. For now, check out the motion poster below and for a hi-res look at the theatrical poster click here.
