AMC and Disney’s upcoming new film The Muppets have gotten together with Sprint for the following theater policy trailer featuring Kermit and Miss Piggy as they settle in for a film only to be disturbed by Fozzie, the Swedish Chef, Gonzo and Pepe to the point Piggy bails on the whole situation.
It’s pretty funny if not just good advice. As a matter of fact, last night while I was watching 2001 at the intermission I noted how I had sat through almost five-and-a-half-hours of movies at the Cinerama (Cleopatra included) and hadn’t heard a single cell phone. That, of course, was a streak that ended after intermission when I heard one phone ring, but I was quite amazed.
At most of the screenings I go to each week I’d say, on average, at least one phone will ring from the general audience in attendance. Even if it’s just on vibrate, a phone can be incredibly distracting and this video even taps into that. Give it a watch below and get more on The Muppets right here.
