New Hunger Games Posters Separate You into Districts

Lionsgate opened a viral site for their upcoming film The Hunger Games in which people register and get sorted into Districts based on some kind of reasoning I haven’t been interested enough to research, and now the Districts have their own Facebook pages and as fans “like” each page, a poster is unveiled. As it turns out, five have already been unlocked for Districts 2, 7, 8, 9 and 12, the latter of which is the District the story’s lead character, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) originates from before she is forced into the arena in a fight to the death.

Check out the posters below and… well… I guess that’s all there really is. Just check out the posters. Oh, and go “like” Districts 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 and 11 if you want to see their posters. Curiously it looks like 13 may even be open, but isn’t that a bit of a spoiler?

The Hunger Games hits theaters on March 23, 2012.

Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. Part twisted entertainment, part government intimidation tactic, the Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which “Tributes” must fight with one another until one survivor remains. Pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy. If she’s ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.
