I really enjoy Tom Cruise‘s Mission: Impossible franchise; even recognizing how bad the second one is, I still tend to watch it on occasion. So, yes, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol is certainly one of my most anticipated films to come over the next few months as it is set to hit theaters on December 21. And now we have the first poster.
Featuring only the headshot from this previously released image we get Cruise as Ethan Hunt in his hoodie and the signature lit fuse across the bottom.
In what is essentially Mission: Impossible 4, Cruise returns as IMF agent Ethan Hunt and this time around the IMF is shut down when it’s implicated in a global terrorist bombing plot. Ghost Protocol is initiated and Ethan and his rogue new team (Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton and Simon Pegg) must go undercover to clear their organization’s name. No help, no contact, off the grid.
