There was also a rumor yesterday that CG eyelids would be added to the Ewoks in Return of the Jedi and a new video has surfaced on YouTube (see below) that has either been manipulated by a fan or actually confirms this news. Either way, as rumors continue to surface they are now beginning to be confirmed as we near the September 16 release of the Star Wars saga on Blu-ray.
None of this should come as much of a surprise and I’m sure this latest Blu-ray release won’t be the end of it as Matthew Wood of Skywalker Sound recently told IGN, “Every time we watch the movies [George Lucas has] got something he wants to change… And so there’s obviously changes done to the films, visually as well as audio-wise. So there are some changes in the Blu-ray version that you’ll have to find.”
Additional changes such as the CG Yoda in The Phantom Menace and Obi Wan’s new Krayt Dragon Call in A New Hope have found their way online. I have included all of them below for your amusement.
