Trailer for Ensem-Rom-Com ‘New Year’s Eve’ Pops the Bubbly

New Line Cinema hopes to follow in the footsteps of the terrible, yet profitable, Valentine’s Day as they’ve brought back Garry Marshall to direct what is sure to be another dumbed down ensemble rom-com centered around a holiday as people break up, babies are born, people fall in and out and in and out of love. The film… New Year’s Eve, and it’s a party for everyone and if you’re interested in knowing who’s invited, here’s a list: Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, Ashton Kutcher, Abigail Breslin, Lea Michele, Jessica Biel, Sofia Vergara, Sarah Jessica Parker, Sienna Miller, Jon Bon Jovi, Seth Meyers, Til Schweiger, Josh Duhamel, Katherine Heigl, Alyssa Milano, Halle Berry, Carla Gugino, Zac Efron and Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges. Get all that?

Good, now get to watching the trailer via MSN. The film hits theaters on December 9.

Following in the footsteps of 2010’s Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve will be set in New York and feature an ensemble cast whose lives are entertwined over the course of the final day of the year.
